Agreement to Terms

User Accounts

Owner Access

To access the owner dashboard and related business tools, you may be required to sign in using an email address already attached to a verified business listing. When you use owner access, you must:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Keep your email inbox and one-time sign-in codes secure
• Be at least 16 years of age
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

Use of the Service

Permitted Use

You may use the Service to:

• Discover and browse local businesses
• Make bookings and purchases
• Access deals and special offers
• Leave reviews and ratings (if registered)
• Communicate with businesses through our platform

Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, data mine, or harvest information from the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity

Bookings and Transactions

Making Bookings

When you make a booking through our Service, you enter into a direct contract with the business. Moji Local acts as an intermediary to facilitate the booking. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information for your booking
• Arrive at the scheduled time
• Comply with the business's policies
• Pay any applicable fees

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set by individual businesses. Please review the specific business's policy before making a booking. Moji Local is not responsible for refunds but will assist in resolving disputes where possible.

Payment

All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use that payment method. You agree to pay all charges incurred by you or any users of your account.

Business Listings

Businesses listed on Moji Local are independent third parties. We do not:

• Employ or control listed businesses
• Guarantee the quality of services provided
• Take responsibility for business actions or omissions
• Guarantee availability or accuracy of listings

We curate listings carefully, but you should conduct your own due diligence before engaging with any business.

If you manage a verified listing through the owner dashboard, you are responsible for ensuring your business details, opening hours, deals, events, and uploaded media are accurate, lawful, and up to date.

User Content and Reviews

You may post reviews, ratings, and other content on our Service. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Service.

You agree that your content will:

• Be truthful and based on genuine experiences
• Not contain offensive, defamatory, or illegal material
• Not violate any third-party rights
• Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

Business owners who upload profile content, photos, deals, or events grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, resize, distribute, and promote that content as part of operating Moji Local.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Moji Technologies Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moji Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Service interruptions or errors
• Actions or omissions of third-party businesses
• Unauthorized access to your information

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or £100, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moji Technologies Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that should reasonably survive termination will survive.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
